SUBMITTING THE BELOW FORM MEANS YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS: 

Trash Panda Bins - Terms and Conditions of Service

A. BOOKING

  1. A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your bin rental. The remaining balance will be charged upon delivery.

  2. A valid credit card must be provided and will be kept on file. By providing this information, you authorize Trash Panda Bins ("the Service Provider") to charge your card for all rental, tonnage, penalty, or damage fees.

  3. If the provided card is declined, the Service Provider reserves the right to cancel the booking and seek recovery of any applicable administrative fees.

  4. The Client agrees to the delivery window selected at booking. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.

B. DELIVERY

  1. The Client assumes all risk and responsibility for potential damage to driveways, lawns, landscaping, sidewalks, or underground utilities resulting from bin placement.

  2. Bins may cause marks, scratches, or damage to concrete, asphalt, or paver driveways due to their weight and nature. The Client releases the Service Provider from all liability for such damage.

  3. The Client is responsible for ensuring the delivery site is accessible, safe, and clear of obstructions (including vehicles, snow, or debris).

  4. If the site is not accessible or safe for delivery, a Pass-by Fee will be charged.

  5. If the bin is placed on public property (e.g., street or boulevard), the Client is responsible for obtaining and providing any required permits.

C. LIABILITIES & INDEMNITIES

  1. The Client assumes full responsibility for the contents of the bin while on-site and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Service Provider from all liability, fines, damages, or legal action resulting from misuse, prohibited materials, or injury.

  2. Clients are strictly prohibited from entering, climbing into, or standing on the bin.

  3. The Service Provider is not responsible for any injuries or accidents involving the bin while on the Client’s property.

  4. In the event of bin damage, theft, loss, or contamination by hazardous waste, the Client may be charged up to the full replacement value of the bin (ranging from $3,000 to $8,000 CAD).

D. PICK UP

  1. The Client agrees to have the bin ready for pickup at the end of the rental term.

  2. Bins that are blocked or inaccessible at the scheduled time of pickup will result in a Delay to Pick Up Fee or a Pass-by Fee.

  3. If the Client fails to schedule pickup, the Service Provider will automatically collect the bin on or after the agreed return date.

  4. Overfilled or overweight bins may be refused and subject to additional fees.

E. DISPOSAL, TONNAGE & PENALTY FEES

  1. All bins include a weight allowance; excess tonnage will be charged at the current rate per metric tonne.

  2. 10, 12, 15, 20, and 30 yard bins filled with materials OTHER THAN dirt, green waste, or concrete will be weighed by the Service Provider and charged a disposal fee of $170 per tonne. A minimum 1-tonne disposal fee will be charged per rental.

  3. All concrete and dirt disposals MUST rent a 12 Yard Bin only.

  4. 12-yard bins used for landscape waste must only contain one material type (i.e., soil, concrete, or green waste). Mixed landscape waste will be charged $140 per tonne.

  5. Green Waste Disclaimer: Logs and branches over 1 inch thick do not count as green waste and will be billed by weight at the landfill.

  6. Soil Waste Disclaimer: Soil must not include roadbase/fill and any rocks must be smaller than baseball size or will be refused.

  7. Concrete Waste Disclaimer: Concrete waste with rebar or wire mesh is subject to a $200 fee.

  8. Any used drywall MUST be placed in a separate bin. Any bin with used drywall mixed in with other materials will be charged a penalty fee of $150 in addition to other disposal fees, which could total up to $500. Drywall disposal will be charged $230 per tonne. Only drywall with a dated stamp AFTER 1990 or with an approval slip will be accepted.

  9. Any bin containing unacceptable materials will be charged a penalty fee of $150, in addition to disposal fees which could total up to $500.

ACCEPTABLE MATERIALS INCLUDE:

  • Green Waste: Includes grass, leaves, and branches (up to 45cm diameter and 2.6m long). Tree trunks/large branches must be in a separate bin.

  • Dirt/Soil: Must not include road-base/fill/boulders/sand. Rocks must be smaller than baseball size or will be refused.

  • Concrete: Cannot contain any natural stone/rocks (e.g., granite, slate) larger than a baseball. Concrete with rebar/wire mesh incurs a $200 fee.

  • Household Garbage

  • Building/Renovation Material: New drywall must be in a separate bin. Declaration and acknowledgement form required. Cannot be more than 8ft in length. Insulation must be double-bagged. Only fiberglass insulation accepted.

  • Wood Waste – Finished: Cannot exceed 8ft in length. Includes solid wood, lumber, pallets, and glued wood (plywood, particle board, OSB, laminated wood). May be painted, stained, or treated (excluding creosote).

  • Wood Waste – Clean, Unfinished: Cannot exceed 8ft in length. Includes unpainted, untreated solid wood/lumber/pallets without glue.

  • Scrap Metal: Must be in a separate bin, cannot be mixed with household garbage.

  • Furniture

  • Food Waste

UNACCEPTABLE MATERIALS INCLUDE: (50% surcharge may apply depending on dump fees)

  • Aerosol/Paint Cans

  • Motor Oil Containers

  • Oil

  • Hazardous Waste

  • Asbestos

  • Contaminated Dirt

  • Propane/Compressed Gas/Oxygen Tanks

  • Barb Wire

  • Electronics

  • Broken Televisions & Computer Monitors

  • Small Appliances

  • Power Tools

  • Medications

  • Fluorescent Light Bulbs and Tubes

ADDITIONAL FEES:

  • Delivering Material: $85

  • Urgent Bin Pick-Up: $95 (Must provide 36-hour notice or urgency fee applies)

  • Rebar/Wire Mesh in Concrete: $200

  • Hazardous Heaping Bin: $100

  • Used Drywall (not declared or not stamped post-1990): $150 penalty + $230/ton

  • Mattress Disposal: $30 (All types including foam, futon, box springs)

  • Tire Disposal: $15/tire (If more than 10, must be in a separate bin)

  • Non-Soil/Green Waste Surcharge: $100

  • Hazardous Bin Fee: $100

  • Pass-by Fee: $135

  • Bin Rejection Fee: $250 (if bin cannot be disposed at landfill)

  • Door Open Fee: $95 (if bin doors are not closed/latched upon pickup)

  • Cardboard: Must be in a separate bin. Additional fees may apply.

  • Delay to Pick Up Fee: $55 per every 30 minutes

F. PAYMENT

  1. All payments must be made via credit card or other accepted method.

  2. Invoices not paid within 30 days will incur 2% monthly interest (24% per annum).

  3. The Client agrees to pay all legal, administrative, and collections costs incurred by the Service Provider to recover unpaid balances.

G. GOVERNING LAW This agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.

H. TERMINATION

  1. Either party may terminate this agreement at any time with written notice.

  2. The Service Provider may refuse or cancel service at any time for reasons including non-payment, safety concerns, or repeated violations of terms.

  3. Clients who cancel more than three bookings within 12 months may be subject to refusal of future service.

I. AMENDMENT These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of the most current version.

J. SEVERABILITY If any provision of this agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remainder of the agreement shall remain in full force and effect.

K. SOCIAL MEDIA

  1. Trash Panda Bins may take photos or videos of bins in use for social media, marketing, or promotional purposes.

  2. No identifying information about the Client will be shared without prior written consent.

  3. The Client may request exclusion from media use by notifying the Service Provider in writing at the time of booking.

L. FORCE MAJEURE The Service Provider is not liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to weather, natural disasters, labor disputes, governmental actions, or equipment failure.

By booking a bin with Trash Panda Bins, the Client agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
